Flash Fiction Friday

Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday.

We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on this picture. To see the other members click this blog link: Flasher Fiction Friday

Looking out the window Tate smiled for the first time in months. Trevor might have left him, but he hadn’t destroyed him. The city beckoned with endless possibilities. Tate wasn’t looking for a new man in his life but he was no longer willing to waste away, let the world pass him by. He had terrific talents to share and a life to live. Today he would shower, put on a fresh pair of jeans and shirt then get out beyond the walls he’d been hiding behind. Today was his day. His day to reclaim the life he’d been living.

Great emotional content in this one. I enjoyed his journey to get back to who he needs to be.

This is a very sweet and heartfelt flash. Good on Tate. Get out there, and have some fun. Life is too damn short.

Sometimes it's hard to find yourself after a break up. His journey finding himself should begin. Excellent post!

Can’t get anywhere sitting around the house. Heartbreak can definitely drown a person in depression. Glad to see Tate’s not letting that happen. :o)
