Kranz watched Melaina’s face tighten as she adjusted the binoculars. This was it, the fight was about to finally begin and there was no turning back now. A glance at Derric showed both the fear and the faith in his eyes. He truly believed in Kranz; believed in his ability to protect them all and bring them safely into the new era. Kranz was humbled to know that this whole group trusted him to protect them. So Kranz was neck deep in vampire hostilities and politics and now the battle was on. The Pack
He’d only been gone a few minutes and there was a strange woman in bed with his lover. Domenic seemed to be touching her in a professional manner after all, he was a chiropractor. Why had she come to his bedroom and not his patient rooms next door? When Jed took an angry step towards the bed a deep growl alerted him to the man in the corner. Jed hadn’t noticed him or the two others with him. When Dom had tried to explain how close the pack was Jed couldn’t comprehend it, now he was seeing the big picture.

The Sister

Peter felt like a dick but he wanted his sister gone. He hated keeping secrets but his family wouldn’t understand about his relationship with his partner. Peter grew up in a conservative small town. Rich was not happy sleeping on a friend’s couch. Peter tried to convince his sister to stay in a hotel but she said she wanted to spend time with her brother. She turned with a slight frown, “So mom said you had a boyfriend living with you. Where are you hiding him and when can I meet him? I promised to tell them all about him.”

The Shrink
As she stretched out on the funky lounger Douglas repeated his statement, “But tell me how you really feel.” The glare she gave him almost made him chuckle but he wanted to remain professional. He was pleasantly surprised when she’d agreed to his suggestion for today’s session. It wasn’t the first time he’d prodded in this direction but she constantly refused and he never wanted to push too far. He was so lucky she was so easy going with some of his more outlandish requests. After all not many psychologists would be so flexible by changing roles with their patients.
