Beck didn't know what made him dig out the old photo. It had been five years since the summer spent at the cabin but for some reason he couldn't stop thinking about it. He regretted so many things from his past. The biggest was the way he had left things with Wynn. He had been a complete ass and his ex deserved better. It wasn't as if Wynn had surprised him when he’d asked Beck to marry him. Just because Beck couldn't come clean with his family it wasn't fair he had accused Wynn of trying to force his hand.

Ooh, I love the emotional tension and reflection in this.

So much regret. I hope Wynn hasn’t moved one. That way Beck can tuck in his pride come out to his family and be with the man he loves.

I didn't get as engaged in this piece as I'd hoped. Maybe because Beck was confused it left us a little step further away from his feeling, then we have memory rather than current feelings and that distance remains. In a passage in a larger piece, this would be fine, but as a single flash, it would punch much better if he were IN that past moment.

Well written and good entry!! (Don't take my critique too personal, please!!)
