Flash Fiction Friday

Welcome to this week’s Flash Fiction Friday.
We have a picture about which we write a story of 100 words, no more and no less. I am joined by some fabulous writers today who give their take on this picture.

Cade tried not to grimace or roll his eyes. When he’d agreed to the poker game with the guys from work he thought it would be a good way to gauge how they’d handle his sexuality. If the porn playing on the jumbo-tron-like television was any indication, he’d best keep his revelations to himself.

Glancing at the screen, all he could think about was the picture behind the girl. Were they her parents? How disappointed would they be with her phone sex career?

Oh well at least he’d walk away from the table as the night’s big winner. No distractions.

Wonderful flasher. I agree with Muffy, you could take this further. It would be good to know why she has a phone sex career.

I love how you twisted this and focused on the pic in the back. Brilliant! Exposing his sexuality probably wouldn’t go over every well with that group of pervs. Nice post!

You have an incredible eye for detail. I loved this whole FFF. His compasion and empathy for the girl was sweet.
Yep, not the time to come out however. But at least he had the edge in the game.

I saw the picture, but thought it might be her own pic of her and an absent hubby. OOOps. Very good take on the pic. I enjoyed it.
